What Has Happened to BlogML?
It’s been quite a long while since the last update on BlogML site and whole the project has gone silent. Unfortunately there were some reasons that stopped us from further work on the project and not responding to contact requests and bug reports.
Today I spent some time on outlining the main reasons for this long stoppage in BlogML lifecycle and why there has not been a new release for almost two years after version 2.0.
As I stated in my blog post, my military service is going to end shortly and after a few months of busy schedule I have a serious plan to reactivate BlogML project again and drop a new build with changes proposed for BlogML 2.5 in its roadmap.
Here I would apologize for the inconvenient and for not being able to respond to your emails and comments. One of the main drawbacks of BlogML development and one of the primary reasons for this stoppage in its extension is the fact that I’m almost alone and there aren’t other team members who can take care about the project and substitute my role in it. Most likely this comes from another fact on the .NET community that there is no passion for open source except what can help a business plan!
However, keep an eye on this website for most recent news about the project and don’t forget to help us as much as you can!

Hey Darren - thanks for the good work so far. BlogML is intriguing and useful so I hope to see some more action on it!
